It is that time again. We will be back in Jamaica April 16th - 26th, 2009 providing medical care in Falmouth, Jamaica, and Nine Miles, Jamaica. We have 14 providers attending including 7 doctors, 1 dentist and 6 medical students. In addition to the medicines that we have purchased, we have received a generous donation of medicines from Americares (
www.americares.org). This included many of the important medicines we use to treat high blood pressure, arthritis and allergies to name just a few conditions. We anticipate treating about 300 patients at the clinic in Falmouth in addition to another 200-300 patients in Nine Miles. One of the most exciting parts of this trip will be the additional time we are spending in the rural Nine Miles area as we are slowly transitioning from a one day health fair there to providing more frequent care. We have been partnering with the Bob Marley Group of Companies (
